Default Akra slip on and PCV +autotune

Hey everyone,

Its probably been answered but I'm at work and I shouldn't really be surfing..
Ithinking about throwing a Akra slip on on and I'm just wondering is it worth adding the PCV and Autotune or am I just wasting dollars?

You're wasting money with both of those. The slip-on is useless and you wouldn't need the PCV with one. You don't necessarily need the PCV with a full system either, but for max potential then I guess it's worth the money.

my rig is the same, PC5 is quiet good but the problem that you can't use O2 sensor of Autotune on stock headers, diffirent size !

I would say if you think you'll get a full system down the road, it's money well spent. You will see a couple HP bump and increased smoothness if you get a good tune. If you never intend to get a full system, save your pennies. The simple fact of putting a slip-on on really does not necessitate the need for a PCV.

FYI, a few weeks ago a French magazin did a comparativ test of many slipon exhausts or S1000RR included the Akra. The result is the stock one is better than every aftermarket ones in term of torque and power! The only added value of the aftemarket ones is weight.
So, we can think there is no need of PCV or similar stuff with aftermarket slipsons because the exhausted gas doest not go out quicker of with a bigger volume.
