Installing pcv wire to tps wire?
Hi folks - I am reading through the installation of the PCV. I am fine with it all but it's very vague when it comes to the connection of the wires. I see we have to use the provided connector. I don't have to cut any wires to the TPS surely?...I'm guessing the little spike on the connector will stab through those wires any connect with the one off the PCV?...
Just trying to get something to go simple for once!!

Yes, the little pointed end on the connector will pierce the TPS wire and you will have your connection then. No cutting the TPS wire.

OK, thanks for verifying that. Seems like it wouldn't last but must be good enough!

Mine's been on there a year and has been fine. They seem stout enough. As good as any "less intrusive" wire tap. I actually like them due to their small size and ability to get in smaller areas.

So, you have the one wire from the PCV, then one or two (?) wires to the TPs...all stabbed by the same little pin?

TPS only has one wire going to/from it.

I must agrée also i off course used the connector for the tps wires and it is working . But I feel it won't last long ... And what about it fails at high acceleration ? I use it but I am not fully convinced it is secured

If you have doubts, the best thing to do would be carefully strip back some of the insulation and then solder it. Second best would be to cut the wire and use a crimp style connector. And if you don't like those two, you're gonna be stuck w/the pin/pinch type that comes w/the kits.
FWIW, my guess is that if DynoJet had a lot of failures, they'd simply change to another type connect, especially since these are really inexpensive.

If you are unsure of the install, watch the video from the power commander website or on YouTube--it's very straight forward. If you do a search for it, the link is on the forum somewhere, and it's easy to find on youtube as well.
What is the benefit of having the TPS connected, when you can't calibrate in the software anyhow? and......
Is anyone using gear position, if so, where is it?
What about a tach wire?
