i think it really depends on whether or not the bike acutally "needs" it. As mentioned above, it burns slower, which equates to "cooler", high octane is excellent to combat detonation, however, is really only needed if the ecu can advance timing to take advantage of it... Most likey not necessary and could lose performance. However, if you want to try it, you're better off mixing in race gas rather than the bottle stuff... my 02 cents
