Default LeoVince DB Killer?

Has anyone that purchased the LeoVince Factory EVO!! Carbon/Carbon full exhaust system removed the DB Killer yet? It's only held in with a small bolt, but I've tried both cold and hot to remove the DB Killer, and can't get it to move at all once the bolt's out. I'm afraid to use too much force as I don't want to crack the CF or damage the DB Killer, and while I can see the DB Killer is a really tight fit, figure maybe I'm missing something here. This is one of the systems Hard Racing had the blow-out sale on recently. Maybe I should just remove the bolt and hang a fishing new to catch the DB Killer when it falls out going down the road?

I'll PM Hard Racing too, but thought I'd try here first.

Try a slide hammer with a little hook on the end. Hook it in the hole where the screw goes or use some pliers and give it a decent yank back. It's just a tight fit the first time going out.

Thanks viperclaw. I've tried a pair of needle nosed vice grips and pulled for all I was worth within reason, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something before I got more forceful.

I'd installed a rubber bushing between the L bracket and the mid point mount to reduce vibration, and was concerned about using too much force as it's more "flexible" than it would be with a solid mount. Going for the slide hammer now and will give it a try.

Thanks again.

The slide hammer with some creative needle nosed vice grip and hose clamp modifications worked. (The only slide hammer I have is for removing valves from pressure washer pumps, and uses different expanding "ends", that sort of look like the old style exhaust pipe expander, but much smaller).

Thanks again
