Default Austin Racing slip on vs Full SS Akra shorty *Video*

Ok, first off, videos are awful

Now that we have that out of the way. I put on an Austin Racing slip on to get a little sound coupled with the exhaust valve mod. Sounded good, but I had to upgrade.

After much debate I went with the full Akra Shorty in SS. Couldn't justify the extra $600 for some blue pipes and few less pounds

I went out and took a video of the Austin Racing slip on

I have my Akra on now so I took a new video. When I first started the Akra I was blown away, even after reading all the reviews I didn't expect it to be that loud but I love it! I'll admit in this video is not very interesting as after I saw the first flame I was trying to duplicate it haha

I have no installed a PVC on my bike yet, I wanted to see how it ran for a few weeks then put one on so I can comment on the difference. It doesn't seem too bad, pops and sputters at low rpms though. When I deccelerate it starts to pop, gargle and spit right when I go under 3k rpms. I'll try to mount the GoPro within the next few days so you can hear how she runs!

Not even a fair comparison. You didnt need a full exhaust, could have just done the Austin Racing cut-n-shut system.

Correct. I think my title was misleading with the "versus". I didn't mean the Akra was better than other options, merely just taking videos and sharing them.
