Default Opinions on the Leo Vince Evo II

I fitted the system, full ti, last weekend and I am now on a 5000 km trip through northern and central Europe.

The fit:
Not so good as I had hoped it to be but at least it didn't take use of a hammer to get it on. Although my last full system was a K-Factory and that might have screwed up my preferences... Suffice it to say that things didn't line up the way they should have.
The most annoying thing was that the radiator support bracket (ie 3 mm thick stainless steel wire thingy) interfered with the crossover pipe between no2 and no3 and had to be "adjusted". They should have included a new one in the kit imo.
Also, the instructions that came with the exhaust was pretty lame. Kind of like this:
Step one, remove fairing.
Step two, remove complete exhaust.
and so on...
Now, when it's on there, I have nothing bad to say about the fit and after some 2000 km on it it doesn't leak, rattle and to my knowledge nothing has fallen off. Yet.

The sound:
With the killer in it is pretty loud, although not crazy, and I don't think that I'll ever get a problem with the authorities if I keep the revs at a decent level when I need to.
With the killer removed, like mine is, people will definitely know that you're coming. It is actually the loudest, from a drivers perspective, at low rpm's and slow speeds. When riding a little faster, even when touring like I'm doing now, I hardly think about it as long as I keep the revs above 6 grand. I find that 140 - 150 km/h is a good speed for autocrossing - not so loud, good air cushion to rest on and decent mileage, about 16 liters per 250 km which is 0,6 liters per 10 km.

Mapping:
I haven't mapped it yet but although some say that I needn't do it I will. It is not as smooth running as it used to be, although butt-dyno tells me it has more power, and I reckon that a custom map can help me with this to some extent.

The support bracket wasn't a problem at all. You should have removed it to make it easier.

I did feel that the Leo wasn't a one man job. I'm glad a I had a friend help me out.

You may be correct. I honestly didn't give it much thought.

And about the bracket I did off course remove it - no way to get the stock exhaust off otherwise - but it couldn't go back on as the goes exactly where the crossover is. That was until I insisted with a hammer.

A
The fit wasn't too bad, IMO. However, I did have to use a rubber mallet to tap the final manifold into the secondary. Regarding removing the radiator bracket, it helps if you remove the oil cooler guard so that there's better access to the radiator bracket screw.

I completed the installation yesterday and plan to test ride it when I get some more time and the sky stops pissing.

The LeoVinci is really nice and personally had no complains.I installed with my mechanic in about 2h and it sounds really nice.I lost almost 5kgrs and you can feel it when you move the bike. The sound is nice and deep.Without the baffle yes it is loud.

Odd, I don't remember having issues with that.

I have the Akrapovic EVO Race Ti system on my S1000RR, but I had the Leo Vince full system on my Triumph Daytona 675 and I loved it... BUT you are right.. with the DB killer removed it is LOUD!!!! I got pulled over by a CHP for noise, but he didn't give me a ticket, just a warning...
