Default Interesting 6000 mile service today

My bike has a full Akra system and PCV, I reconnected the O2 sensors and loaded a zero map for the service.

The bike ran better than I thought it would, no flat spots etc, but not as nice as with the PCV

Even though I left both exhaust flap actuators fitted the diagnostic's still put them up as a fault, the reason? the actuators travel too far when there is no flap to open/close.

There was a heavily customised bike there with a cut and shut AR exhaust with a nice looking carbon can, it was there for a 'wouldn't rev' problem but had been fixed, how anyone could ever think they could get away with the NOISE the thing made I have no idea, it was that bad none of the techs would ride it for fear of getting a pull

Is this mandatory when getting the bike serviced if you have a full system and PCV. Asking because I didn't do it for my previous service.

I don't think so, the only reason I did it was last time they had the bike in for drop sensor and breather recall they did a software update and because I didn't have the o2 sensors connected the diagnostics could'nt set the 'idle stabilisation' (or some thing like that, maybe throttle alignment?) the result was the bike would idle at 1300rpm, but when in gear with the clutch out the revs/idle would not drop past 2000rpm, made town work interesting!

I reconnected the o2 sensors and the idle came down over a couple of hours use
