Default Dyno w/ DTC Question...

They threw my bike on the dyno before I picked it up to see if the fueling looked ok with the new exhaust and air filter. Graph looked good - very linear.

DTC was not shut off or disabled - they just warmed it up and then did a few runs. Would the bike's electronics cut power as it detected the speed difference between the front and rear wheel?

Just curious...

If your DTC was not turned off the dyno graph is wrong.

If it hadn't had a chance to clear out the warning lights (from the battery being replaced) would it still even be active?

It wasn't till I unloaded it at home and took it down the street real quick that the lights went off (I wanted to verify that bypassing ABS worked and my custom front sensor ring was being read)...

To be honest I do not know that.

I thought if you loaded the bike on the dyno and then started it the ABS and DTC would not come on since the front tire would not have moved. I think it needs to go forward a 3mph or something like that to calibrate thats why the lights blink until you get moving. Just my 2 cents I have been known to be wrong allot just ask the wife.

This sounds right. Numbers were between 190 and 192 - not sure about correction or other factors; it's the same dyno and settings my Fat Chuck-built R6 motor made 118hp on.
