Thumbs up I heart my new Akra EVO! Questions for the audience though.

Greetings Everyone, I hope you are all well. As the title says, I finally pulled the trigger on my Akrapovic EVO with Long can, and it is absolutely amazing! The sound has a nice deep rumble at idle and holds that consistent deep tone throughout the entire rev range.
After I left my neighborhood during the test ride, I got into a nice long left hand sweeper. The bike caught me off guard in that first turn because it flipped over so quickly and smoothly. Never did I imagine the bike would handle better with the lighter exhaust.
Major PROPS to DAN KLYE for giving me his PCV map. The bike has zero flat spots, and is much more responsive in the mid range. Thanks again for the hook-up Dan.
So here are my questions: Has anyone dyno'd the same bike with and without the db killer? How big are the hp/torque loses, and where on the rev scale does in mostly occur? I would love to see the comparison numbers between the two if someone can help me out. Lastly, if/when I do run the db killers, is my PCV map still correct? Am I running way too lean or rich with the added back-pressure?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm in Charlotte, North Carolina and have the same elevation range as you. Thanks for checking in, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Dan has two different maps, one for with the Db killer and one without... He will give you the one you don't have if you ask him.

I have the exact same setup as you, but with a BMC Race filter.. STUNNING stuff!!! The midrange makes the Bike into a complete BEAST now.... The top end gains are just as astonishing, but the midrange gains are amazing.

Cheers.

It seems that my engine temp is now running a few degrees cooler. Is that a characteristic of a full exhaust system? It may be just be the relative humidity, but I’m not sure.

I noticed the same thing.. maybe an average of 5 degrees cooler on the Freeway. It doesn't seem to have made a difference when I am in commute/5 mph traffic though... Maybe because the temperatures are all over the place when I am stuck in the commute
