Remus exhaust install? Upper hanger issue

Hi everyone,

Got my Remus hypercone slip on today for my 16RR. Question on the upper hanger, shows that I'm supposed to just screw it into the back of right passenger peg mount. The problem is that my peg mount isn't threaded at all? Am I missing something here or did I get a bad peg?

Thanks!

You are meant to have a bolt that goes through that peg with the remus kit. It goes in behind the actual pillion peg and out the other side so the muffler can be mounted with a nut on the back side. Yours is missing.

Just use all hardware (bolt, nut, etc...) from OEM can.

Thank you! Brain fart moment earlier. I was actually taking the peg off earlier so I can just tap it and found the hex "divot" in that peg mount and it worked!

I tried but the stock but is welded on the stock exhaust hanger. Taking the passenger peg off the mount revealed what I needed to do.
