That's seriously good. That howl, means business - just like the S1000rr deserves. Impressed!

I definitely got good results with the AR-CS on my 2010 bike. But to be honest, the 2012 runs just as well in terms of mid-range, and I just have a plain full Akrapovic system with the long can. Not much louder than stock at full throttle. Whatever they did to the stock bike for midrange for the 2012 model year carried over to the exhaust's performance as well; I clearly recall a massive torque hole in the midrange of the Akra system on the 2010 bike.

I'm curious if shorter systems have more top end (Austin Racing, Arrow Evo2), and wonder if BMW runs the long Akra systems on the factory race bikes for performance reasons, or to meet loudness regulations....a stubby Akra system was tested but only used for a couple races.

Awesome. Great sound and the vid clips are solid. Strong work there. Cheers.

.
For 2012 model they added +1 in the rear sprocket, that is why it got better mid range power in addition to some ECU tuning.

i drove a 2011 S1000RR with full shorty Akrapovic exhaust and hell it was lacking low and mid range torque compared to my 2010 S1000RR with ARCS exhaust!! and add to that, the loud crap sound it made I just ordered a long Akrapovic exhaust for my other 2011 S1000RR friend and he is very happy about it, and when he passed by, it had a nice tone and wasn't that loud. How many times i should thank my God that i didn't purchase that shorty Akrapovic system? Every single day LOL

After seeing this video I decided to contact Neo (Rich at Austin Racing) and he sorted me a system out. Very happy.
