This sounds interesting. I had the ecu flashed on my 2009 R1 and it made a huge difference. Will be interested in the details.

Subscribed & watching this space with great interest. Really like idea of flashing rather than piggy back unit & with handheld ODB2 would be even better.

Pretty much done, found all limiters - switching over to working over OBD2 and getting the handhelds working and programming. All bench work done. Final revision (OBD2) will be completed on the dyno when the cables show up.

ETA JAN 1 for completed project.

HP4 fuel mapping?
ABS/DTC mapping?
All limiters off?(the bad ones)
Equivalent of RACE ECU?

Please summarize on what we get here.
Can we reflash this ECU to remove limiters and continue to keep the PCV for fine tuning?

I was thinking - port/head work + ecu reflash + fine tune with PCV.
Will that work?

Experienced ppl pls chime in.
