Does anyone make a Shorty that dumps out right behind the factory fairing instead of coming up the side? I absolutely love this look but I haven't seen anything like it yet for the s1k. Of course I haven't searched too hard so I'm just curious.

arrow or austin might be your best bet, shortest i have seen. here are two, but both have full belly pans.

Austin Racing side GP3 with full Bellypan

the headers are too long for a muffler to dump out close to the factory belly pan

Both of those look really good. If only one was about 3-4the inches shorter and directly out the side. You would still need the full belly pan but if they were made to go with one another that would be gorgeous.

you might be able to go custom, not sure how you would mount the muffler. they can't mount it back too far because stock cat. i'd prefer the same style you're trying to go after but the akra system is dead sexy lol.

I went with Austin Racing because he's all over the forums, he'll e-mail you his dyno-tuned PCV map for his exhaust, and it's not a pipe you'll see everyday.

here's a link, my phone gives errors for photos uploads... :-(
