Default I have to wait now!

Well, instead of swapping my 2011 for a 2012, I decided to go the HP way to get the neatest maps without having to reinvest too much. I have just got the bike back with the full Akra race line and BMW HP module (with the latest factory maps and DTC settings).

Now starts the hard part: having to wait for the first track day in a couple months to try it out (I really don't want to have to refit all the road stuff just to get a nasty ticket)...

I still have to fit the clip on bars and RC 19 to keep me busy. The race fairing will be back from paint towards the end of the week as well.

Pics to follow of course.

Cheers!

Hello,

No dyno done but the latest official SBK maps. I'll have to get it on the test bench.

Hello,

Actually I do not know. I brought the frame and swingarm CF protectors (together with the first race fairing) from a guy who'd crashed while racing 600s in France and had to stop riding altogether due to injury. I know they are not Ilmbergers and believe they may be these:

The guy had used polystyrene sheets as protection inside the protector to prevent the CF scratching the frame and swingarm). There still was the original double sided tape so I juts used them "as is" and held in place with a few zip ties (easier to remove)

Hope that helps.

ah ok thanks, good to know there's an option to the ilmbergers. thanks for the tip on protecting the frame, maybe i'll try to line it with the stick on felt or something similar depending on how much gap there is.
