Default Akrapovic exhaust

Hi everyone.
Does anybody know, if I bought an akrapovic slip on in the USA would it be street legal in Ireland?
Thanks.

If your local constabulary looks for the EU approval stamp, probably not. But if you purchase the version with the cat, it might be.... Check the Akro site, it shows that most of their systems are not "street legal" although most tend to ignore that at their own peril. I suppose worst case if you get pulled is to slip the stocker back on.

Here they say their slip on is "EC type approval" whatever that might mean.

Well, as you said "slip on" specifically, I think you would be fine. A slip on is pretty much an aesthetic change. It doesn't change emissions and rarely effects volume.

Alternatively you can purchase the appropriate approval sticker from fleebay, slap it on the new can & call it a day!
