I bought the e-revo brushless brand new for about $260 if I remember correctly. The Lipo batteries aren't cheap but I don't think they're worth the bump of $500 bux on the price...hmmm

Thanks for the tip... yeah I guess it should be mentioned it's a 1/10th. VERY fast - over 65mph w/the correct gearing and 3S Lipos.
