BMW S1000RR 4 LED FRONT TURN SIGNALS: eBay Motors (item 130417222589 end time Nov-01-10 08:20:52 PDT)

Anyone get these or know anything about them?

the s1000rr has a system in it that detects resistance in the signals. if the signals arent the same resistance as the stockers you get an error on the dash where the engine temp is. my guess, is that these wont be correct and you may have to install resistors in line with the + to get them to work properly. im sure theyll be fine otherwise though, cheap as dirt.

Slims correct... if you bought them, you'd need to buy some resistors to put in too, to fool the CAN-BUS sys.

BTW, he's got the Watsen Designs... I've got those as well. Watsen is out of Canada and makes EXTREMELY nice stuff. He's got the resistance dialed in and matching the BMW stock signals. The downfall is that as of late, Roger (owner) has gotten inundated w/orders for the S1000RR... worth the wait though, but it might be a little bit till he gets em out the door. Worth it for sure though!

I asked the ebay seller if the kit included the resistors so the canbus error doesn't show:

then they should be fine! they wont be as bright as watsens but, theyll work. then again, so do the stockers.
