For those that extended the swingarm on ABS models, I now you can get extended brake lines, but what did you end up doing with the rear wheel speed sensor wire? Complete disconnection? Extended it somehow? Anyone make an extension for it?
It's two wires. Cut it and solder in the added length needed. I'm pretty sure you could have already be done with the job in the amount of time it took to write this post.
Yeah, pretty much, especially since I work with electronics and I'm pretty handy with a soldering gun :nerd: Couldn't dig up any info on the wires themselves and wanted to be sure there would be no adverse effects when splicing and lengthening.
Just thought I'd check back in and let others that may be wondering the same thing that no cutting is required and my swingarm extends +14. There's enough slack in the cable to route it alongside the arm with no cutting required.
