Mine is 2013 BMW S1000RR with Akra full system long can and oem swing arm and linkage. What is the best sprocketing for drag race. I have to options 16/43 or 16/45
Stock 2015: 17/45 ratio 2.647-not sure if stock on the 13
16/43 2.6875 little more drive off line lower top speed
16/45 2.812 more off the line less top speed
Lower/smaller the ratio more top speed
Higher ratio more torque off line/corner also might be harder to keep front wheel on ground
What's your goal? I'm not a drag racer, but what length drag will also play into what ratio to run.
16/45 would b good for drag racing with stock swingarm.
Is the bike lowerd or strapped? tuned or not? stock airfilter?
