Default My trackday videos

Some more videos, unedited. Camera position was poor, upper fairing and dash covering too much.

Also stock suspension is giving up, major bottoming out issue visible, rear wheel sliding all over the track. Times +4-5secs from national SBK level.

Now I've changed stiffer Öhlins oil, still did not change shimms, considering to buy Öhlins cartridge kit. Would have bought 105 springs, but importer was out of stock, 1mth of active tracktime, when Finland is moving towards winter sports...

Cheers.

Another visit to the same track. Now camera in better place. Still otherwise stock suspension, but added 8cm3 oil into forks -> raised oil level ~6mm. Better to brake, not yet good. (obviously I've raised front end from yokes & adjusted comp&reb + rear spring preload).

Dunlop D211 GP's 120/70 an 190/55. Totally awesome tires. Soft compund fronts last hundreds of laps, and rear 7712 up to 150 laps, when you turn it in between. I've ridden pretty hard up to 200 laps with 6854 compound.

In my past I won some national championships, now just regular middle aged family dad teasing Rookie1000 class racers with streetbike...
