Riders Discount shakes down the new bike
We finally got a chance to shake down our race bike at the track last weekend. So, here's a quick video of RD's owner, former AMA Pro Brian Gibson, putting in some laps on the bike while "taking it easy," he said.

Great vid! Looks like they got the paving finished up to the straight. I still hate the Bus Stop, new pavement or not......

Yeah I have to say even at my fastest I had a hard time hanging with Brian. The guy is fun to watch (for someone that just goes out and rides around for fun now)

I did have my AMA Pro license in 1999 however didn't ever make a race. I decided to buy a house instead of spending the money on racing that year and kick myself in the butt every time I look at the license hanging on the wall in my office. I did go back to racing in 2003 and 2004 and there is a good chance I will hit a WERA race or two this year.

The next time the bike is on track we will have all of our video equipment out there as well. This was just a quick test to see what we needed to improve on.

You guys have the speedo set in kmh instead of mph? I was looking at some of those turns thinking that 120-130 had to be way too fast for that turn, but then it looked like the speedo went on up past 200, so must be kmh?!
Nice Video! Cool camera angles!
