Default Track day video

YouTube - Santa Fe BMW 2010 Track School/Track Day

This is some decent footage/audio from a track day at Sandia Motorsport Park last year. These are not super fast laps but I was trying to get footage of my coworker riding his BMW HP2 Sport. He is a fast rider but a bit cautious on this bike. It was the first time I used a GoPro. I felt that I was shadowing pretty close to him but the fish-eye lens pushes objects away so I lost that effect of being right on top of him.

Nice vid

I used to own a HP2S before i got the S1RR, so that brings back memories

If the HP2S had another 30bhp at the wheel, it would be awesome (and i would probly still have it)

The fellas I remember are both managers from Santafe BMW. One was on a silver s1000rr and his buddy was riding an HP2. Madcapper I've seen you at Sandia but we have never met. I always pit at the back and perhaps you've seen my wife race. She is the only current expert female in the club and she's quite fast. This year she is racing my s1000rr. Last year I was the instructor riding a thunder grey 1000rr. This year I'm instructing on a 06 yellow zx10

The s1000 is such a good bike that i decided race it on the last race weekend. It was bone stock minus exhaust and slicks and i ran 4th place in the ULGP running 54's. My only real beef with the bike is the front suspension is wayyyyy to soft for my 220 lb suited a--. at race pace.
