Default First ride of the year, testing my GoPro

Just picked up a GoPro. Did some experimenting with it when the weather broke yesterday. Nothing crazy, figured I'd share

That's pretty cool.

Kinda funny to, I got a go pro motorsports hd for Christmas, and our weather broke to, so yesterday went out with the camera for the first time too.

Check out this video on YouTube:

Nice vid. I could kind of tell from the shadow, is the camera mounted on the windshield or how did you secure it?

First time I went out I put it on my helmet with a the suction cup mount, I didn't really like the look so then I used one of the perminent mounts on the windshield, I use the swivel attachment so I can adjust the pitch of the camera.

Still figure out the camera and youtube

I got a a GoPro Hero and took it skiing this last weekend with my kids! Very cool! I did suction mount it to my tank and aimed it through the wind screen hoping to get speedometer and view, but I road for a while only to find that the SD card was no good.

Great product. Can't wait to use it on my dirt bike and mountain bike rides.

Yeah the dirt bike footage will be sweet! It's amazing how good of videos this thing takes. I am getting a chestmount in the next few days which should provide some pretty sweet motorcycle footage I'm assuming

you got to stop putting vids up its making me jealous.......

one of my favorite roads, dead sheep mountain as the sheep are kamikazes and have a stupid habit of running under the front wheels of cars, bikes and anything else thats on the road, awsome stretch of road but it looks easy to ride in the vids but try riding it another 30-40 mph faster and its a whole new ball game....

Cool videos, looks crazy!!

I bought a chestmount harness. Without trying to set it up 100% how I wanted it I made this video today. I believe the ideal place for the gopro is somewhere between the chin and chest. That way you get the bike and road. Check it out!
