Default MasterTest Video

for our Italian speaking contigent. and for those of us who don't, still fun to watch. i'm sure some of you have seen this already...? it's pulled from the ducati and MV forums. what's great is that in european testing it would appear there is a category for rating how well a bike "wheelies" and another category for rating how well a "rear brake" brake works at helping back it in (j/k). we just don't have cool categories like that here in america. LOL take note that Bridgestone seems to have ponied up to sponsor the test. anyway, if you pause at one point, technically you can see the S1000's faster laptimes and trap speeds...

Here is the gist of it from my friend.

"Ok so in the comparative analysis they had 9 test pilots one per bike and rotated so each bike was tried by 5 pilots. They go through the pros and cons of each bike, what they wish the bike had that it did not. For BMW all they wished for was more esthetic design and finish. From a mechanical perspective and handling perspective it was 'perfect'. To quote "it blew away the competition" though as Italians they were quite pleased with Ducati and MV Augusta's offerings and while they concede that 2010 belongs to the BMW and the Germans they hope the Italian bike makers up the ante for 2011.
Monstrous torque at all RPMS, the best overall break feel and breaking power. Agile and stable handling.
Superb electronics.

So there you have it. It leads the pack with no doubt in anyone's mind"
