FWIW, I scraped my Ilmberger belly pan while at the track, sent Julius (Ilmberger) an e-mail and he said to throw some clear lacquer on it. I sanded it a slightly and then sprayed it... looks great, can't tell by the look, still can feel it a little because I didn't want to sand too much.

Point is, if someone buys these from you, they can easily be touched up!

Thanks Donny,

I don't think I wouldn't even bother on the belly pan since you have to be within 5 " lying on your back to see it, but it would be a good idea on the badge holder.

The belly pan looks new and the scratch is hard to even see. I was planning on giving someone a good deal on the belly pan or just shipping the new one back un-opened to Hard Racing for a refund.

I am thinking of doing the same with the badge holder.

They are both good deals and not easy to get. It took several weeks just to get these two items. They are now back-ordered again.
