Smile **SOLD** S1000RR - Thunder Grey, ABS, Shift Assist **SOLD**

***** SOLD *****

Thunder Grey
ABS
Shift Assist / Quick Shift
4336 miles

$13950

It's a somewhat unique bike in that it does NOT have DTC, but does have ABS. The four power modes function as expected, but traction control isn't factored in.

Perfect condition. Never tracked, dropped, or damaged in any way.
Purchased and serviced at San Jose BMW.
Clean title. California registration is good through April, 2011.

The 3 year / 36,000 mile transferable manufacturer's warranty is good through April, 2013.

It has some trivial mods...
TechSpec tank grips and pad
R&G Tail Tidy

Located in San Jose.

PM, e-mail powell.ss@gmail.com or call 408.899.9321

Thank you for your interest,

Sean

Default Your bike

Good luck with your sale. I was wondering where you get your tecbike cover from? I'm having trouble finding a distributor in the states. Any downsides to it? Also would you recommend the R&G tail tidy? I'm trying to decide which brand I want to get.

Thank you,

Michael

Thanks Michael. I purchased the TecBike belly pan from Hard Racing through their first group buy. I believe this was the thread...
TecBike Under Belly Pan - GROUP BUY - Clean look for your ugly CAT. Conv.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe there is an official distributor in the states. I'd contact Hard Racing to see if they might run another group buy.

I'll actually be selling my TecBike belly pan separate from the sale of my bike. After posting my bike for sale, I was contacted by another gentlemen that also said he couldn't find any way to purchase one -- so he'll be getting mine.

There really aren't any downsides to it in my opinion. Yes it will redirect heat a little bit towards your right foot, but isn't noticeable with boots and leather. It fit perfectly when I installed it. A friend of mine ordered one as well and has had no issues. It uses stock hardware with the exception of one bolt if I remember right, which fastens the two pieces of the pan together below the cat. There are other options out there to cover up / remove the cat but they are more expensive. TecBike's pan was by far the cheapest best looking option I could find that didn't require race exhaust and/or not using the side-stand. Of course I haven't shopped around for one recently though either.

As far as the R&G Tail Tidy, it's also a nice piece. I had one on my Speed Triple, liked its fit and finish so I ordered one for the S1 as well. No complaints. Easy to install -- No cutting or drilling -- bolts to stock mounts. Reusing the stock singals was a plus. I'm not a fan of those tiny odd-shaped blinkers the come with other tail tidy kits.

TecBike Belly Pan is no longer included. Sold it to another S1000RR owner. Original post has been edited. Bike is still available as listed.
