Default **SOLD** FS: Red/white/blue S1000RR **SOLD**

Selling my S1000RR.

Anyone reading this knows what it is, 3400 miles, swingarm spools (never been lifted though) and Tech Spec tank grips. New Michelin Pilot Pures with less than 100 miles on them. DTC/ABS/Slipper Clutch and QSA.

Never down at all whatsoever. Only defect is the passenger pegs paint is rubbing off a little from my girlfriends shoes rubbing, cheap paint I suppose, rather annoying. But take them off and the bike is flawless.

Pictures to come. Asking $15.3k or best reasonable offer. Bike does have a lien through BMW USA so I'm not sure how that would work with transferring everything, never sold a vehicle with a lien still on it. Can't be that difficult.

$15k Fall Season Sale price. That's actually my lowest number I'll take, in case anyone was wondering. Otherwise it'll be there for me to ride in spring

I should have also asked that only RELEVANT replies be made. You don't agree with my post/asking price, that's fine, keep it to yourself......please.

Here's something relevant - you're going to be lucky to get $13K. And asking 15.3K OBO, then a month later saying 15K is your bottom "sale" price doesn't make much sense. Your dropping the price at a slower rate than it's depreciating..

Like I give a damn about what how other people throw their money away. That's my price, whether or not I sell it I dont care. So again, if you don't agree with it, your choice. But obviously people on here feel they have to chime in with their useless comments. I know enough to know what I'm doing for my particular situation. If I wanted input or advice I would have asked.

Not trying to stir $h!t up, but I think it really depends on the buyer. I can't see needing all the suspension and stuff on a street bike, plus swapping back to street and going through inspection from a race bike can be a PITA.

My street bikes with 10k miles were way cleaner and in better shape than my race bikes with 2k miles. Plus I tend to beat the snot out of my track bikes; so I've always sold for less when they're ready to go.

Case in point - one of my last race bikes was a 1098R with the $3500 Ducati Corse close-ratio transmission, superbike valves, upgraded brakes, upgraded ttx shock, revised rear geometry, case guards, lightweight fairing stays and painted race bodywork. Never crashed, over $40k new plus $6k in upgrades. The bike sold with 1200 miles on it for $19.5k. Street 1098Rs, stock, with comparable miles on them were fetching $24-26k.

A bike is only worth whatever someone will pay for it. Some people want one that's been meticulously waxed, dealer-serviced, babied and garage kept - they're turned off by one that's been run hard.

Just my $0.02. Good luck with the sale - it's a very clean looking bike.

Ryan

And for the record "Rico" putting emphasis on "loaded" vs "bone stock" was redundant and unnecessary. My bike is "loaded" as well. Bone stock, yes. Aftermarket parts? No. Oh well. So again, if it goes it goes. If not, no bother to me. It will still pass 99% of you "BONE STOCK" at the track anyway having a blast on it next year
