Default Any interest in a 2010 MS with less than 2K miles?

Thinking of selling since I don't really ride the bike and it mostly just sits in my livingroom (yes, the living room)

Less than 2K miles

Motosports color, showroom condition
BMW HP rear sets
BMW HP levers
Akra slip on shory
yoshi fender eliminator

Rest is compeltely unmolested and stock. I have all origional parts as well.

Bike has never been dropped or raced. Only taken out on weekend jaunts.

Thinking I would let it go for $13,425 (that's blue book) obo (obo= reasonable offer, not a low ball)

Title in hand and ready to go. Located in southern Washington state.

If you want it let me know soon, once spring comes I might decide to keep her!

**might also consider a trade for a nice condition good gas mileage car**

Since you asked. Price is too high. People can buy a 2012 for just a few grand more. I let go of mine for 11300 last summer.

His price is right on what the book says it's worth. He might have to adjust for the market in his area, but his price is close imo.

Default It's worth what someone will pay....

I can't speak to weather the price is high or low, what I can say is that Kelly Blue Book (KKB.Com) is a "gauge" on some vehicles it's high and other vehicles it can be low.

For example, I went to sell a Mercedes some years back, every dealer said the same thing "your car is worth $5,000 under low book, that's just how it was for that particular car at that particular time.

Sell if for what you can get, if you have a buyer that has the cash/credit and the offer is reasonable, let her go.

Hey Metalhead,

Did you put on the shorty yourself?

With the recent dealer/warrantee thread, I'm curious as to if your local dealer did the work.

How are your tires? Have you changed the oil more than once?

Also, I'll check with Westside in Spokane (where I'll be in April) for if they'll have issues with it.

Cheers,

Steve

ETA: unless the shorty causes issues they're cool with add-ons.

Why am I getting "price is too high"? I asked for blue book and said I am open to offers. So really if you think a price is fair....offer me a deal, not complain. I just don't want something low ball like 8K or some of the other stuff people try to get away with.

It has all the dtc, abs, quickshift.

Akra installed by dealer.

Same tires as it came with....still in good shape.

Has had a couple oil changes....just did one before wintering.

your price is not to high. the issue is that the s1000rr is holding its value very well so for 2 to $3000 more they can get a new bike. good news are bike hold there value well so if your like me and get a new bike every two year then u don't lose any money when u trade it in. bad news is if u try to sell it privately people with 13,500 dollars in there hand most likely have the extra 2000 to go buy the bike new for cash
