***SOLD***F/S: 2003 R6 - Race/Track bike***SOLD***
***SOLD***
Clean title. Looks the same as the one in my Avatar except it has the stock seat (no Superbike tail). Plastics/fairings are in good condition. Could use a fresh paint, but for a trackbike - it's good to go as is. Can provide pictures to serious inquiries.
Bike is safety wired, ready to race or just have fun on a track day. Was only ridden one full track day this past year. The tank has a dent on the very top, not actually that noticeable - basically it's a little flatter on top than normal, but functions fine.
Extras on the bike:
- PCIII
- DynoJet Quickshifter
- Vortex Rearsets
- Graves race faring stay
- Ohlins Steering Damper
- RaceTech internals in forks
- Penske Triple Clicker Shock (just freshened and gone through by Thermosman)
- Extra spring for Penske (rate I can check on)
- Quick release fuel tank cap
- After market air filter
- Slip-on Exhaust
- Various extra parts in a box I will include
- Brand new battery a few months ago
- 520 Conversion
- Rear spools, frame sliders, case protectors
Bike has always been maintained very well since I've owned. Have run only Motul Factory 300V and changed every 3 days of use. Motul RBF600 Race Brake Fluid. Runs great, runs strong.... Excellent inexpensive bike!!
$2,900. If you don't want the Penske Shock, I can put a stock shock in its place and negotiate down on the price of the bike.
PM me if interested.

Almost the same bike as shown above except it has a Scott's Steering Damper, Ohlins shock, and a little motor work done . After the 2012 season I plan to sell it too... and then regroup over the winter and find a good deal on a newer race bike for 2013.

I have various spare reset parts, but won't be able to get rid of them before I know what's what w/the 2012 race season. If my B-bike sells, Ill need all the spare parts I can keep around (just in case ). But it could be that my B-bike gets parted out if it doesn't sell in the next 6 months. If so, I'll have TONS of spares for ya.
Are you planning to keep your 03 R6 into 2013 too? If so, I'll keep you in mind w/what ever I have left over or if I have to part one of these things out.

ah fair enough. you have two r6's? i love spare parts!
yeah, i got a killer deal on it and last year was my first year racing, second year riding. im happy vortex makes their rear sets out of flubber. hahaha
i love that bike. every time i get on it after riding the bmw for a while, i hit the first corner and nearly lay it down because it is so effortless to push into a corner.

For sure!! Especially with good suspension, proper geometry, and a good set of race tires . Both of my friends that usually ride liter bikes tried this bike at the track and almost went into the infield due to it turning in and flicking a little too easy compared to their bikes.
