I like the CT style mufflers. Doesn't the mega use the right rear set for the mount?

[QUOTE=650ib;167431]Yeah, I'm installing my Brock's Performance CT Meg titanium exhaust onto it. Brock is going to make a custom tune for my HP4 with the Brock's exhaust

I just took a look and you're correct! Looks like I won't need the carbon fiber hanger on the HP4.

If this does work out it will be a very Inexpensive alternative to another full system. About $400
I put the Akra EVO w/short muffler on my friends bike last year, I will try
his link pipe & short muffler too. If someone wants this instead they will need the hanger from the right side rear set or aftermarket rear sets.
eBay & this forum has the right side rear set for sale all the time cheap.
Time will tell.

$1800 for the system is a great deal! That's a $2984 system retail from Sierra BMW
This will be great for the guy that has to keep is bike stock & use factory parts. Should sell with no problem at that price.

That would be awesome!!
Please keep up updated.

Do u know the part number you have?

I want to keep a stock look, but delete the cat.

Thank you!

Akra P/N: L-B10E1 Ti Link Pipe
I am talking with a few venders about this part. I will test fit the pipe a day or two after I get the bike.

Yes, it's mine until my HP4 arrives and then it belongs to Sills BMW It has 9700 miles on it and they're asking $14k for it. All of the extra parts will be removed and it will be stock.

Just a quick note & to be honest im not sure, but the rear sets on your HP4 won't have the extension to take the stock S1Kr muffler or shorty style slip on which you will need to fit the system you say you want. If this is the case PM me as i have a set that i got of some one on here & i may be willing to part out as i can't seem to get the broken part from the shifter side (no one will sell it me as i'm not in the state's & aus delear says he can't sell it)
Send me a PM if you want.

Im sure you know this by now but thats the race Kit your referring too, you can buy the stock OEM exhaust with out the unit and code. Its a different part number. The race kit is 77 11 8 521 685. I was thinking about getting the mid pipe and selling my stock exhaust. literally has 1 mile on it then I put the race kit on.

I have a few questions, based on Ackro numbers through the the. It seems these are rendering the best numbers all around.....? Why would one remove this.....is there now better systems avail? Also Will this hook up the the 2011? I am interested in upgrading my exhaust.
