NICE and congratulations! I hear ya on the snow thing... same here. Bike's in the garage, been there for the last two weeks, still has the same mileage as when it left the dealership (in an enclosed trailer).

I think I sat on your bike down at the motorcycle shop in anchorage when they first got it in. the only reason they aren't selling it early is that they want it for the motorcycle show. You're right though, sucks with all the snow. I thought spring was upon us, then all this shitty snow hits again. I have the thunder grey on order through the motorcycle shop, but told not to expect it until June/July which sucks even more than april! Let me know when you get it, we should go riding some time. I'm in Wasilla.

Oh man I know this is retarted just a couple days ago I was walking on dry pavement and there was only just a few spots here and there that would spell disaster if you were to ride a motorcycle. I was thinking yes finnaly it's almost riding season! So the next day I get up for work and there's about a half a foot of snow everywhere, SO ANNOYING! Anyway yeah I want to find more people who ride so far the only people I know are my dad and brother. Do you know anyone else on the forum from alaska?

I know of a couple guys from the ducati forum in alaska who might be up for a ride. One of them has the new RSV4 as well, so we'll have to see if anyone is interested once the snow is gone. I must say that silver looks really nice in person, the pics don't do it justice. Did you buy it the night the unveiled it with the free pizza and such?

Nice to see Guido on this forum! for anyone who doesn't know shift tech rocks. Great carbon fiber and FAST shipping!!!

Off topic, but do you know if the 1198 akra and termi full systems will fit with the rear hugger for the 70mm? I bought the rear hugger and the akra hits it behind the indent where it looks like it should fit. Wondering if maybe it was more designed for the termi? I haven't fired it up yet, but fear it melting where it touches.

They closed at 4 the day they unveiled it and i was working untill 4 i was dissapointed but i saw it that tuesday, and now that i think of it i cant remember when i payd for it(sad i know) but im sure it was the week after the unveil, and there was free PIZZA?!..they should have saved me a slice they knew i was intrested in it lol

About that RSV4, I didnt know there was any in alaska but now that i know i would love to see one in person. if they are up for a ride that would be awesome, this riding season is sounding like it is getting better and better (i never rode with more than one other person at a time and it was a harley lol)
how often do you see a sportbike ride alongside a cruiser?
