Default My new S1000RR :)

I've had every kind of sport bikes, from 600s to hayabusas, and i already have a 2008 GSXR1000 and a 2010 GSXR600 track bike, but when i got the beamer, wow. The best bike i ever had. Powerful, light, sexy and all the electronic bits. I really like the quickshifter also. WHAT A BIKE !!
I stunt a lot and the wheelies and endo's are awesome. The brakes obviously feels awesome, but i'm still trying to find out the best fork setup for my driving style, the front-end always feel too light and wobbles a lot under big acceleration....aaawwhhh those shitty roads here in Quebec, CAN...pot holes everywhere...lol

Those are some nice bikes you have there. You chose well with the Beemer though it's well known that those in Motorsport are at least 10mph quicker

Yes, the K does have the QS, but i was'nt enjoying it as much as i enjoy the S1 -QS...
Now how would i compare them? Ask my girlfriend ! LOL
The K is much smoother and does'nt feel the same when accelerating because of the drive-shaft obviously. I really enjoy it for long rides with backseat, i hate the S1 for that and the girl too. What i do enjoy most on the K is the low-torque ; when cruising on the highway, 6th gear-70mph, you don't have to downshift to get some power as much as the S1.
2 really great bikes but i'm more of a S1-type-of-guy !!!!!

you're spot on about girl-friend's comments using QS!!!

agreed on the smoothness of K, but, i thought the QS on the S1 was much improved from K, sometime i felt K has little hesitation on the shifting. perhaps, it just getting old, LOL

anyhow, i'm with you about the "S1 type of guy", hope to hear more from you on this forum, cheers!
