While the Miller World Super Bike round has come and gone, I've finally got around to looking through my pictures in more depth and posting a gallery. This gallery is comprised of only pit/paddock photos but I feel are quire enjoyable to look at. I have as much fun taking these detail shots as I do panning and shooting on track action. I'm certainly no one with credentials, but the pit walks offer you a small amount of time to get some nice pit shots. The weather at Miller this Memorial Day Weekend wasn't so great for the racing as it was very cold and wet. However the sun was out on Saturday when these were taken.
For those of you that haven't been to Miller for the World Super Bike races, you should seriously consider attending them in person. The track is a great facility, FIA certified, and half an hour away from downtown Salt Lake City which offers plenty to do after you leave the track. Tickets are affordable, as are hotels.
I posted another thread with Pikes Peak International Hill Climb pics (20 of them) and figured I'd do the same for Miller. On most photography forums 20 photos is waaay too many to post, but I enjoy these too much to weed that many out. And besides, this is a bike forum, not a photography forum. And you enjoy looking at photos of bikes....right?
For those of you that see this on multiple forums - you can't call repost from another forum! :-P
The rest of the gallery can be seen here -

Kuba Smrz is in most cases either at the front, or the back. This weekend he and his teammate Guintoli both stood on the podium of race one.
