Default Fun Track Day Photo

I didn't know where to post this photo here or bike of the month... But, nonetheless, it's a fun picture of the BMW S1000RR with me on it at Thunderhill Raceways in Cali going through turn 10...

Very cool picture..

I LOVE Thunderhill, but I wish we could run it without using the Cyclone and doing the bypass....

Love that turn; gotta get ready for 11. Easy to over cook after 10. Where's the apex? Great position; wish my stiff old body'd get that far in!

That would make Thunderhill a blazin' fast track...I think that would bring the fast guys top ave. lap time speed to around 107mph, which would be hella fast!!! Currently, the fast guys average about 99mph... Yet, that would be fun!!!

I think you wanna apex 10 right about the middle of the curbing and go wide to set your line for 11. Your line through 11 determines your drive and speed on the all important back straight...

When I run my Car up there, we don't use the Cyclone.. It's a trip to use the bypass.. a bit off camber and completely blind....

Cheers

Very cool photo apart from some nasty graffitti on the front of your lid!
