The tranny looks parallel to the engine going by the linkage location and the swing arm looks braced already! Moto GP......here we come! Looks way better than the anything out there regardless of the price!

Default Front of the bike...

Why hasn't BMW released a picture of the front of the bike? I would be VERY interested in seeing what the street-going version's front actually looks like. I know MCN said they have a picture of it in this week's paper but it was not part of the free portion made available on-line here > New MCN March 25: KTM SMT first UK test - Motorcycle News

I may buy a subscription for a month if I can't find a photo otherwise.

Thanks for posting what is available. Are there any other postings anywhere showing any of the other colors available to the public? Would love to see the other options.

Found this today ....

New MCN April 22: BMW S1000RR tech secrets revealed - Motorcycle News

Looks to me like MCN took photos from vroom.be and added colors to the bike.

This is the same rider on the same road with his helmet visor lifted....

Welcome to the world of magazine PhotoChopbJobs!
The main reason they did that i suppose is that the black paint with white swirls is a trademark BMW bike & auto division trademark paint job for concealing body curves & throwing off journalists on test mules!

I suppose MC took that picture & cleaned it up to give the bike more realistic body graphics so their readers will get a better idea of the bikes real life looks!
