Default My AGM S1kRR, Genesis coupe, '66

Picked my S1000RR up from the dealer yesterday. Still completely bone stock. Haven't even pulled the reflectors off yet. Waiting for some things to arrive in the mail. On its <10 mile dyno break-in it put down 177.42whp. Same day, another brand new S1kRR with just the Akrapovic slip-on put down 183 during its break-in. The numbers with full exhaust are just ridiculous. It's very light, very flickable, has tons of power, and the brakes are incredible. My turbo 900RR probably had more power, but the BMW seems more exciting/intimidating with it, though it's probably just the long bikeless dry spell I've had.

Very happy I went with the acid green metallic. I was unsure based on the photos on the internet and magazines, but in person it's gorgeous. And it comes with the silver swingarm and black wheels instead of the color scheme the silver & charcoal bikes have.

Default Wow, looks awesome, car looks good too

Hope i did not make a mistake with the white. The best pictures i have seen of the green. Kinda green with envy. All my friends and family said they did not like the green. Over 60 so i guess its a better color for me, at least that what my wife said. Anyway, the s1000rr in green will be the most striking and recognizable bike on the road. I was also leaning towards the black, for awhile. But had to have that silver swingarm.

Where did you find that BMW tank protector? I have been looking for one, but so far haven't been able to find one.
