Thanks for the pictures... I miss Knockhill.. great little track... I'm a Scotsman, originally from Crail, living in San Francisco at the moment... I am waiting for my Bike to arrive in October....

I know Crail well, raced karts there from 92 to 00. Nice wee village, not much different from San Fran!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have done two track nights now in the dry and one called off for the fog!! Don't think i would bother doing one in the wet!!! Might try squeeze in a couple more this year.

Looks like you had a great time!

BTW you need to lean off the bike more as you look 'crossed up' in the photos.

The bike leans so fast, i made the same mistake and lost the front end, and the bike at 80 mph at a US track.

agreed.

inside arm should nearly be flat with the bar, outside arm should be on the tank at your forearm, gripping with outside knee, get your shoulders opened up to the turn, one ass cheek off the seat, and your head down low, right where your mirror should be. get your head so low without bending it in by getting your body weight right off the side of your bike at about. say. 10'ocklock. youre at max lean, but you wont carry any speed like that.

Cheers for the tips guys, i thought i looked rather upright in the photo! gives me something to work on. Will get some new photos up when i'm next on track.

Yeah.. spot on there.. San Francisco and Crail... twins...

So you were out at the Airfield racing Shifter Karts then.. I taught my Sister how to drive out there..
