Well I asked the 'detailing world' man I know and he say
''Wash the bike and dry , apply this to all the plastic and metallic paintwork parts with a microfibre pad or microfibre cloth and then after a couple minutes wipe off just like a polish. It will make it shiny and also prepare it for a sealent which will totally protect it from the elements.

Then apply this. its a sealent that crossbonds atomically with the surface and drys rock hard and leaves a glassy finish , this can be applied to plastic/fibreglass etc all panels , its called z2pro and is the best in the business , i did my old mans ducatti and fatboy with it.

This needs to be wiped on and left for an hour so that it cures. Then wipe off to leave a lovely well protected finish ,you can also do all metal in this and chrome as its what maintained my engine bay in such a pristine condition even though it covered nearly 20,000 miles.
For future maintenance , just wash bike and dry and spray with this and buff off , its a quick detailer which restores the finish like mr sheen on an oak table with a yellow duster

That should do the trick.''
And as for snow
