Default The S stands for Swanny!

I've waited a long freakin' time for this....as of March 4th, 2010 I finally laid hands on her....

Ride West took all my money and in return I got one hell of an "Acid Trip".

I seriously felt a like a giddy lil' school girl....this is the first new ANYTHING I've ever bought and it was $5,000 more than I've ever paid for a car!

Lovin' the color....it's so f'cked up it's cool!

Saddling up on the first ride from the dealer. That's Dave Swezey on the left who sent me to SLC to help represent the brand at SBK, and my salesman John Heale who got to attend the launch in Florida and gave great feedback on what to expect from the bike.

This is the next day in the driveway...getting ready for my new bike/birthday ride.

First stop was at a nice lil' mossy bridge for a snap...

Here she is at Stevens Pass...

At a rest area outside of Leavenworth, WA...freakin' hands were frozen! Where are my heated grips!!!!!

Rode the German bike to a German town (Leavenworth, WA) to drink German Beer at a German PUB!!

Stopped by the Timberline Lodge to show off the new ride to a fellow PNWR Lizi Wesson.....I think she liked it...

The State Patrol was nice enough to give me a Birthday "performance award" on my ride back to Seattle....it's o.k., I got pulled over on the way there that morning too for 20 over in a 35. This one was just 10 over in a 60!

Love the dirty lil' Fraulein!

So I got 275 miles in on Friday, and another 100 on Sat. I got about 133 miles in rain mode before the fuel light came on and told me I had about 37 miles left....not a bad range for a liter bike. I must say I wanted the hell off of it at about an hour....I think she's gonna take some getting used too. this ain't built for comfort....but everyone is telling me I'll get used to it and eventually will prefer the ergo's...
She's all I expected (even the sore hands!) and then some....tons of feel and buckets of confidence. It's like she's reading my mind...I just have to think it. Not like muscling the R11S through the twisty's.....this bike just wants you to sit there and be quite!

Thanks for looking everyone!

Cheers!

Swanny
