These are 100% Cotton high quality reservoir socks, which are made to fit your brake reservoirs perfectly. The logo's are all embroidered on.

The small ones fit the rear brake/clutch reservoirs, the large ones fit the front brake reservoirs.

What do they do? (Aside from looks)

•Traps and absorbs brake fluid that's vented from the reservoir
•Prevents brake fluid from getting on your helmet and/or your motorcycle, damaging paint and corroding metals
•A number of race tracks ask racers to cover their reservoirs as they also assist in containing any brake fluid that may be spilled onto the track in the event of an unfortunate accident

These are good looking covers. However, I have been riding a long time and gave never had any brake fluid "vent" from the reservoir. In fact it is impossible for the fluid to do so as the reservoir is sealed to keep moisture out since it would break down the fluid...

Take off your reservoir cap, there are slits on the threads so that it can vent. It is basic science that the reservoir has to be vented. If it was air tight, there would be no movement of fluid.

It isn't a myth that brake fluid will seap out of your reservoirs if you are riding hard. It is a known fact. Look at many professional riders and this is the exact same reason which they run brake reservoir covers of this sort on their motorcycles.

I wouldn't pass along wrong information for the sake of marketing a product.

Here are some examples of top level race bikes with reservoir covers on for this exact reason.
