Submission: One of the great things about BMW riders is that not only do they take great pride in their bikes, but they also ride them.

To that end, my reason for submission is not due to what my bike has become with its many mods that make it my own. But instead, it is because of what it has seen in its short time. I picked the bike up in March of 2011 and through the course of the summer accumulated over 14,000 miles. Being based in Denver, CO allows me access to some of the finest riding in North America, but even with the Rocky Mountains in my backyard the bike and I still yearned for more. So in August, I decided to take a solo trip from Denver to Moro Bay, up to Seattle and back. The trip took 22 days and covered 6,600 miles. To say that I have bonded with this amazing machine would be a gross understatement. I am proud of what the bike and I have done together and hopeful that we will have amazing adventures in the months and years to come.
