Default 2012 motorsports GoPro pics

I did a quick photo ride with the Go Pro. It was late in the day and very cloudy. I'll get better ones on a sunny day. Those heated grips are awesome!

Anyone else annoyed by the way that headlight reflects back off of the fairing? The 2012 looks to be even worse than the 2011. Maybe I'm just jealous - great colour scheme and it's warm enough for you to ride. We are 38 degrees and rain. Ugh.

It was 50 degrees, windy, and cloudy. no more mesh jacket. heated grips worked out great. a couple more shots here...

Too lazy to remove the reflection of the camera from the visor.

heh, at first i saw the R&G and thought 'what is Franko doing with my bike!?!'

question though, i noticed you were in 4 and at 44. generally, i stay in 2 unless i get on the freeway and hit 75ish, and then i'll go to 3.

is it just preference for where to shift for general street riding, or am i doing some bad things running the higher rpms all the time?

LOL. I just parked it back where you left it. hehe.
For street riding, I stay around 4th gear. I actually really like the quick shifter so much, I just want to keep shifting up.

Yes I hate that. I'd love to fix that somehow.
I'm about to get the HID kit and that will be white light coming thru.
Any ideas?

I didn't even notice til you said something. Then had to scan all the pics to find what you were talking about. So I guess my answer is no, it doesn't annoy me

What does annoy me though is every time I come back from a ride I notice new nicks in the paint from little rocks and pebbles that get kicked up by other vehicles, as well as little nicks on undertail from my own rear tire since there's that stupid hole in the hugger Every bike I've had gets little "normal usage" nicks like this. It just seems like they are racking up way faster on my s1k, what the hell?

Nice pics Franko!
