Need your help...

Believe me, for every three you report, there are probably a dozen other reports or so too... but every day. Which fills my inbox w/e-mails... good and bad... it gets me to the posts quickly so I can blow them away, a lot of e-mails to get through too.

There is a LOT of experience within these forums. Keep in mind that Motorcycle.com has over 30 of these motorcycle related forums. The challenge is ensuring that what ever is done plays well w/the other security options and other features in place.

I think in the past week, ALL our network of sites got hit by these dvd box selling spam bots. Arghhh...

Some additional controls were put in place a couple/few days ago and from what I can see (unless it is coincidence) the SPAM has decreased.

We didn't lock things down totally, but hopefully it will be a happy medium. When/if you see some spammers, they will likely appear in the "New Members" area...

Thanks again for your continued vigilance to stay on top of these irritants!

Thank you , waking up and seeing these spammers was really getting on my nerves .
