I going through the same thing with my bike. The throttle and right foot peg vibrate more than I would like them too.

I ordered the Motivation bar ends and some new Driven grips.

I rode a friends 09 R1 yesterday, I noticed a significant difference between bikes.

My bike didn't start having vibration issues until after the first service was completed. I remeber it rock solid and smooth as can be before the service.

Just got back from 310+ miles of hard-core riding and I can definitely report that the Motivation bar ends are worth the money. They don't eliminate all the vibration, but I noticed other riders having to slow to shake their wrists and not me.

The AP rearsets also quelled peg vibration.

Now if we can get a solution to the throttle tension...

My Sharkskin full belly needs to be dremeled as it hit the sidestand & broke.

Wish I had known before having it painted.

When your adrenalin is rushing as you're flying through the twisties you don't think much about your hand fatique, etc. it's when you're slow down and you're just cruising along and taking it easy, that you feel the pain in the hand.

I just picked up a 06 gsxr750 as a spare bike, so i'll have a bike to ride while i take apart the s1k to get more precise measurement for designing the machined bracket. Now i just need to find the time to do all this

Reply if you're interested. i'm not going to CAD and cnc anything if only a few people are interested. The design time, programming and fixturing for the parts is not going to be worthwhile for a few one-off parts.

MrC
It's looking like this isn't going to happen, but FWIW I would buy one.

im a little thick headed today. but i was wondering, what did that bracket accomplish? its bolted in the stock location, so the bracket where the cable end points are in the same place, im having a really hard time trying to figure out what has changed. lol

is it to hold the spring end so it can be wound up again? i would be willing to pay for even a crude version of this should you be interested. living in an appartment leaves me with zero fabrication equipment. lol

It allows the stock spring to "unwind" some from the stock location, which is why it looks like it does....therefor relieving some tension.
