Drop sensor issue

All.

A bit annoyed at the bike - pulled into a gas station to fill up a few months back. Went to start the bike and it was completely dead. No lights, nothing. Was in the middle of nowhere so rang BMW who told me to 'wiggle the starter button'

strangely, it worked.

Later that day while riding along, the bike suddenly cut out, same as before. This time no amount of 'wiggling' worked. It had to be towed back home.

The bike went back to BMW who said there was a problem with the starter button - they fixed something (apparently)

Today the bike wont start again. The thing is, the error message I get is that the Drop sensor has kicked in. The bike hasnt moved!!!! (it has been used since BM apparently sorted the issue)

Any ideas?????

Thanks

Well....did you check that the DS did not fall to the side or move of its holder?
My bike at the track did not start. Mechanic told me a cable came loose at the starter motor. Also, I know the handle bar switches are starting to fail. I am about to change the left.
