Alpinestars Shoes, or others

What are you guys wearing, and how does the sizing compare to USA. Do you like them. Pictures and links please. Also other brands and models welcome.

I am in the process of shopping for shoes, and looking at the Alpinestarts Aanaheim, or San Diego, models. I hear they run a size smaller compared to standard USA, is that true? Also, icon super duty 4 boots, any inputs?

A variety of Sidi and A-Star boots seem to be popular here. I Have Sidi boots myself, not sure of the model.
If you go with a shoe, my advice is to steer clear of any with laces if possible.

I just picked up A* SMX-6 V2 Vented Boots. Extremely comfortable. I got a size 44 (9.5US) and I normally wear 10.5/11 in US. Fits very snug and comfortable. Waiting for my new pants to get into make sure everything can fit together.

Not the best boots for high level tracking riding though. Will save and pick up some supertechs for next season.

I have the Alpinestars SMX 6(not vented) boots in size 43. They're absolutely great!! I'm actually going to buy another pair(vented this time) in white because I love them so much.

As a reference for size:
-For Nike, I wear around 10.5 to 11 depending on type of shoe.
-Jordans are usually 11 to 11.5.

I've got the sidi mag 1s. Excellent boot but I'll be changing them soon as they are a bit narrow for my foot so I'll be trying out whatever's top of the line with alpinestars.

Do some of the A-Stars cinch up at the top? They sometimes appear unnecessarily wide at top to me.
Buddy wears them and they look funny because of that I think, short and wide.
