2012 S1000rr out of the door price
I got a quote today for 17,065, OTD. Bike has abs, gear shift assist, heated grips. Is this a fair price in the Wash DC area?

I can't speak for the DC area, but I got one in Ohio about a month ago. It had 14 miles on the odometer with the same options you are looking at plus DTC and the slick plug.
My out the door price was $16,500.

I paid $16.7K out the door, but TN has 9.5% sales tax...

This is very helpful since I got the quote from them. I also got my K1300s from them. Would you mind telling me who's your sales rep?
Thanks..

Carter was the salesman that i used. He is a pretty straight forward guy. I took the demo for a couple of rides, when i returned it on the third time out, i said. " Im really interested in purchasing whats the best price you can give me on a fully loaded model. He quoted a price of $500 dollars cheaper than retail. I then said im ready to put a deposit down, he then dropped the price another 500. He then asked how i was paying and i said i have my own finances in order. He went and talked to bob. BoB a really great guy came from the back and talked to me. My final play was i factored in the fact that i was putting a 500 dollar deposit down and i was paying with my own money. I said most places are willing to bend, he looked with a smerk and said then i want you to have the best deal he asked what they quoted, and the rest was history. Hope this helps.

If that's your true OTD (meaning including taxes and everything), then that's a great deal for a California bike. We usually always pay more here.....cost of living I guess. Then again, SoCal has a 350+ day per year riding season so I'd say it's worth it
