I'll pick it up tomorrow. All of the Brit mags are at Barnes and Noble. I buy them all They are about $10-$12 a piece, but FULL of info. Takes about a month to read everything in them vs Cycleworld that I can read in one visit to the bathroom.

I've, just read the article in MCN here in the UK.

To cut a long story short - HP4 on the road is awesome, even better than the 2012 s1000rr.

Better start saving up!

Was this really a surprise? Not even sure why they are comparing them. Of course the HP4 tops the 2012.

I hope they still talked about how good the S1RR is.

I still reckon they'res not another brand that is as good as the 2012 S100RR. BMW have just taken an extraordinary bike and made it better.

From what my local BMW sales team here in the UK told me, there wouldn't be much noticeable difference between the 2012 s1000 and the HP4 on the road. It would be more on the track where the difference would be really felt.

That obviously isn't the case according to MCN.

Rich, I must confess the HP4 felt much lighter and absorbed road stuff a lot more than my S1RR. In the end, I was looking for bumps on the road to ride over cos it felt so cool.

I doubt the HP4 is a true race bike, but it's a hell of a SuperSport bike that can be ridden pretty fast on the track and then ridden home without any adjustments made to the suspension.

I would imagine throwing several grand into a 2012 S1RR would get you close to an HP4 but still wouldnt be quite the same. But my lowly modded 2010 stills suits me just fine and its paid for!!

Im with you on this Karlb

I couldnt justify the price on waiting for an HP4... there is no advantage to one in my eyes for street riding... and I have a track bike so my S1000RR stays on the street.

the DDC sounds cool though... but the standard doesnt turn my crank... the Competition does... but the price is way up there...

Calling my dealer today to see when the HP4's hit the floor.

There was already an article on the HP4 when used on the circuit and it is not the bees knees.
