After some panniers for the bike as im off on tour next year and as i have the AR gp 2 system on the bike im abit worried the exhaust gas will burn the pannier over time.??? So does any one have the blaze panniers and gp2 exhaust fitted on their bikes and any problems with them fitted together.???? Cheers BUZZ

WELL WELL WELL......I p1ssed my self laughing when i read this today and so did my Thai GF.....why couldn`t you have asked this a month ago...lol

I have the SW Motech Bags and had them for about a year plus no issues at all...(wait for it),

UNTIL, i fitted the danmoto de-cat pipe and used the OEM can last month..

We went for a tour to Siem Reap (Ankor Wat) Cambodia starting from here in Thailand.....On the way out no problems, BUT when we got home and the G/F was doing the unpacking of the bags,,,,,,,,shock horror, there was a 10 inch snotter of plastic dangling from the right bag....not the bag it`s self BUT the nylon zip for the expanding section was melted......Grrrrrrr

So unless you have a 3rd party fuel controller fitted to sort your mix out, i suggest you rivet on an aluminum thin plate on the bag base like i `m going to do....or change the zips to metal ones, providing the bag holds out...

Thanks for making me laugh at myself....LOL

P.s now i know why they are called Sw motech BLAZE panniers
