BTW a word about the Akra slip on. I have only done a slip on can on one bike prior to this one. I have Brocks Ti full system on my ZX14-R as well at the moment for example. This bike ran so well with stock pipes and spot on fueling, I was hesitant to go the full exhaust route again, and deal with a PC5, tuning etc. I have no doubt that a full system will deliver great power gains and richen the exhaust note. But I have to say that this Akrapovic slip on does add both a bit of sound, particularly through the gears, not so much as idle, while really smoothing out the overall power delivery. The bike feels as if it's breathing much better and revs faster. It has a very nice smooth, meshed sound and increases of both bottom and mid range thrust. The Akra marketing slicks say as much and even show the gains on their dyno sheets, but I honestly was not expecting it, rather hoping for a little bit of sound improvement and if any performance gains were there...great. IMO it is a modifcation well worth the price for a smoother, better breathing and a bit harder pulling bike. Plus it looks killer IMO
